Sharleen Joynt Career
Joynt was an Emerging Artist with Calgary Opera. In 2009, Joynt made her Carnegie Hall debut by singing a solo in Schubert’s Mass in G. Also, Sherlyn graduated from Mannes College of Music in New York with her Master’s degree in Vocal Performance.
Eventually, Joynt joined the Theater und Orchester Heidelberg. She was vastly critically acclaimed for the role Zerbinetta in Ariadne Auf Naxos. This role got Sharleen to be nominated for Young Singer of the Year by Opernwelt magazine in 2011.
Joynt spent her next year as a member of the Theater und Orchester Heidelberg, performing a few other roles. She also made both a role and theater debut as Marie in La Fille du Régiment, an excellent embodiment of characters and fearless onstage presence in German Regietheater.
