The US journalist and political commentator Saagar Enjeti is the host of the daily news and opinion program, Rising from The Hill.

Enjeti is a media scholar at the Hudson Institute, where he is co-hosting The Realignment Podcast. Saagar has appeared on C-SPAN and on Fox News as a panelist. Previously, he worked as a White House correspondent for The Daily Caller and reported from the Pentagon as a foreign affairs correspondent.
He contributed to the Business Insider and the National Review. Enjeti has served as a guest panelist at Fox News and in 2019 as an organizer at the Freedom Conference of the Steamboat Institute and the Conservative Political Action Conference.
Saagar was co-author of Krystal Ball’s book The Populist Guide to 2020. This book is currently among the top ten best-sellers in the politically focused Amazon comment category and was released on February 8, 2020.

It is heavily critical of the media outlets of the center-left and of political politicians for what the writers describe as many decades of bilateral failures, systemic failures and utter betrayal of the working class.”
