Born in Roslyn, New York, Itzler is the son of Daniel and Elese Itzler. He received his education at the American University on a full academic scholarship, but while studying law, justice and society, Itzler was also composing music and participating in open mic nights.

Under the stage name Jesse Jaymes, he released his first album “Thirty Footer in Your Face” including multiple successful songs. In terms of his personal life, Itzler has been married to Sara Blakely since 2008, the business mogul and founder of the company Spanx. The couple has three boys and live in Atlanta, Georgia.
