Jamaine Ortiz Career
Ortiz won two New England championships and was a 2015 National Golden Gloves silver medalist. He reached the semi-finals of the Olympic trials in 2016. During his amateur career, Ortiz fought several top young fighters.
Moreover, he gained invaluable experience sparring with former World Boxing Association world super featherweight champion Javier Fortuna Ortiz’s success at the professional level comes as no surprise considering that he had a heavily decorated amateur career, which included an impressive 100-14 record and culminated with him reaching the semifinals of the 2016 United States Olympic Trials. Round 7: Ortiz lands a series of heavy uppercuts and Segawa roars back with a hook only to be met with an Ortiz right hand.
