Louis Freese was born on 2 June 1970, in Los Angeles, California, USA, of Mexican and Cuban ancestry. As B-Real, he is an actor and rapper, best known for being part of the group Cypress Hill. He’s also known for contributing his talents and music for movies such as “Space Jam” and “The Rugrats Movie”. All of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is now.

B-Real attended Bell High School in California, and would soon meet future Cypress Hill members Mellow Man Ace and Sen Dog; he dropped out of high school and then met DJ Muggs. All of them had an idea of an album that was based on their experiences growing up in Cypress Ave, and then formed the group Cypress Hill. In 1991 they were signed by Ruffhouse/Columbia Records, and then made a debut that would earn them popularity and recognition. It’s worth noting that prior to becoming a part of the music industry, Real was a drug dealer and was known to be affiliated with gangs that led to a him getting shot in 1988. This experience would convince him to leave the gang and go straight.

From that point on, B-Real and the group became known for their eccentric sound and beats, becoming the first Latin rap group that would release what would become multi-Platinum albums; the group became recognized as one that existed before the Latino rap music fan base even existed. Aside from the group, B-Real’s popularity would help him with other opportunities and projects. In 1996, he helped with the soundtrack of the film “Space Jam”, and six years later he would be a part of Serial Rhyme Killas with Mellow Man Ace and Son Doobie; this was, however, a short-lived group. Real then became involved with Kush and Stephen Carpenter from Deftones to create a rap metal group. He was also a part of the group called The Psycho Realm, and continues to collaborate and help others with their albums.

Aside from music, B Real also has a live streaming site called Breal.tv which focuses on interactive programs. There he hosts various shows such as “Meditation”, “Dr. Greenthumb Show”, and The Smoke Box”. He’s also done a lot of music productions, working with groups such as D12 and the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). According to him, he intentionally did not produce for Cypress Hill, and just uses his production talents for other groups. He’s also released his own mixtapes and albums which are entitled “Smoke N Mirrors” and the “Gunslinger”. Real can also be seen in the single “Vato” by Snoop Dogg.

For his personal life, it is known that Real married his long-time girlfriend in 2008 and they have a daughter; he also has a son from a previous relationship.
