Before becoming famous and making her film debut, she posed for noted clients, and during the ’80s became the face of L’Oreal advertisements; a representative from Wilhelmina Models noticed her while she was on a trip to Los Angeles, and this eventually led to her signing with Elite Model Management in 1978.
