T. J. grew up in his hometown, but when he finished high school, he moved to New York, and attended Syracuse University. While studying he had a terrible accident in which vending machine fell on his leg, fortunately, doctors were able to save his leg before gangrene started spreading.
His career began in the early 1990s, when he joined Harold teams at the iO Chicago.
