In 2001, he became a rapper under the name of Opmaestro, although later he changed his name to Stromae. At age of 18, he founded the rap group Suspicioun, together with the rapper JEDI. They made and produced the song and the music video “Faut que le t’arrête Rap…”. Later, JEDI decided to pursue solo career and the duo separated.
