Born in Brentwood, Essex, in England Moyer started his career at a very early age. As young as seven years old, he was already singing with a church choir. Later on while attending St. Martin’s School, he became head of the choir at the church and he also started singing at his school where the headmaster recognised his talent.

Moyer’s headmaster introduced him to acting and gave him the lead part in the play “Tom Sawyer”. It sparked his love for performing and soon he joined local company The Reject Society and started producing and acting in his own plays.

Later, Moyer decided to pursue acting full time and applied to a drama school to hone his craft. He got accepted to the prestigious London Academy for Music and the Dramatic Arts where he studied acting.
