In 2001, Bream moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, to host the evening and late-night news for the CBS affiliate, WBTV. Bream worked at WBTV for the next three years and afterward joined Washington D.C.’s NBC affiliate WRC-TV. She became a weekend anchor and covered general news.
While at her work, Bream also met the managing editor of the Fox News Channel, Brit Hume, in the Washington Bureau. Brit encouraged her to join the Fox News. Shannon, while attending the law school at Liberty University, met Sheldon Bream. The two fell in love with each other and dated for more than two years.

“We had friends who kept trying to put us together. We were always dating other people and we had a friend in common who finally came to me one day and she said, ‘You’re here at this football game. He’s here at this football game. You’re going to meet right now.
After their final confirmation from their parents, Shannon got married to Sheldon Bream in the year 1995.

Shannon Bream Husband’s Brain Tumor
Shannon’s husband Sheldon Bream is an American journalist for Fox News channel who was born in Pennsylvania. Sheldon has an older brother Sid Bream who is a retired MLB player. Bream graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and Business.
Talking about Sheldon’s medical condition, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor back when he was 24 years old. Talking about her husband’s diagnosis of tumor, Shannon said,
“He was a college athlete, very healthy and strong, and he’d had an ear problem — like a ringing in his ear — for a long time.”
They treated him for everything, ear infections, all kinds of stuff, and they said, ‘Well, we need to rule one thing out. It’s a longshot.’ But the test came back and they said ‘You’ve got a brain tumor. It’s about the size of a golf ball and it’s got to come out.’”
Fortunately for Sheldon, he underwent a nine-hour surgery to remove the tumor and the operation ended successfully. But despite the operation being successful, he encountered a complication! All of the swelling from the brain surgery crushed some of his facial nerves and Shannon’s husband ended up with severe paralysis.
When this all happened, Shannon was in law school. She and Sheldon were still starting their lives together and engaged to be married.
