Apparently, this move was used to wake up Rousey every morning. In 2012 Ronda competed in Women‘s Bantamweight Championship and won. She defended her champion title the next year, too.
Ronda Rousey‘s modeling career has consisted of appearances as cover girl for Maxim and ESPN The Magazine, the latter nude. The former magazine placed her in the Hot 100 list at the 29th spot. She also has an acting career with cameos in the blockbuster action movie “The Expendables 3“ and TV show “Entourage“, and is planned to star in the upcoming “Fast and Furious 7“.
Rousey was given the nickname Rowdy by her friends, but she refused to use it, thinking it would disrespect the wrestler Rowdy Roddy Piper. When Ronda met him thanks to Gene LeBell her concerns were relieved and Roddy approved of the nickname.
Ronda used to be a vegan, but has now transitioned to a diet that‘s a combination of Warrior diet and Paleo. It‘s also known she‘s a fan of the Pokemon video game series.
