Morena is the daughter of actress Vera Setta. As a child the family moved to New York, where she attended Public School 41 and later New York City Lab School for Collaborative Studies. She then went to Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, matriculating and later entering Julliard School’s theatre program. During her time with Julliard, she would become a part of numerous productions including “Mary Stuart”, “The Importance of Being Earnest”, and “Love’s Labours Lost”.
