Michael Sean Coulthard was born on 8 December 1968, in Syracuse, New York State, USA, and as Michael Cole is a professional wrestling commentator, voice actor, host, and professional wrestler, best known being part of the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Corporation. He is the commentator of the weekly show “Raw” as well as various other WWE main events. All his endeavors have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

Cole started his career in CBS Radio, getting assigned to cover news about the 1988 US presidential campaign of Bill Clinton. He also handled news on the Yugoslavian Civil War and the Oklahoma City bombing. He continued this path well into the 90s, covering political issues including presidential campaigns.

In 1997, Michael went to the World Wrestling Federation after some recommendations, and later changed his stage name to Michael Cole. One of the first jobs he did was doing voice-overs for promotions and then he became a backstage interviewer. He became a third announcer on the show during 1997 before he was replaced by Jerry Lawler. He then returned to commentate in 1999 after Jim Ross went on break due to medical reasons. When the new promotion “SmackDown!” appeared, Cole became the show’s main commentator and would continue to work in that position for many years. He’s also been involved in some of the storylines of the show, mainly playing a minor role. He had the opportunity to commentate on some main events such as the 2006 Royal Rumble. In 2008, he returned to “Raw” after the annual draft that traded names from each WWE show. He also wrestled for the first time during this period, with Jerry Lawler. Afterwards, Michael became the commentator for the new “WWE NXT” and also became well known for being the spokesman on “Raw” for the Anonymous General Manager storyline during 2010. He also developed a feud with Jerry Lawler, having a few matches and even involving big names such as Bret Hart and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. One of the biggest recognitions Cole’s had during his career was his commentary during Jerry Lawler’s on-air heart attack. He continues to be the commentator for “Raw” alongside JBL.

Aside from wrestling, Cole has lent his voice to video games, specifically WWE games such as “WWF Smackdown! 2: Know Your Role”, “WWE ‘12” and “WWF No Mercy”. He also appeared on the show “Fox & Friends”, and voiced himself in the film “Scooby-Doo! Wrestlemaina Mystery”.

For his personal life, it is known that he is married to Yolanda and they have two sons who are adopted. One of his sons works in the WWE for the television production team. Michael also mentioned that he loves Twitter and his favorite country to visit is South Africa.
