Judge attended Alexis I. DuPont High School and would then move to Martin County High School from where he matriculated. He then went to Mary Washington College and North Carolina School of the Arts, during which time he began performing in theaters, which led to him getting some recognition.

One of his first appearances was in an episode of “Wonder Woman” entitled “Amazon Hot Wax”. He then got his first major film in “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” which starred actors who would become highly successful. Prior to that appearance, he was a part of the drama “Running Scared”, but also appeared in Pat Benatar’s music video called “Shadows of the Night” though he was uncredited. He then appeared as a junior police detective in the film “Beverly Hills Cop” which starred Eddie Murphy. Two years later, he was cast in “Ruthless People”, and would then become part of the music video “Honestly” by Harem Scarem.

In 1994, he became a part of “Beverly Hills Cop III”, and “The Santa Clause” which would lead to a trilogy of films; he also made a guest appearance in two episodes of “Arrested Development”. He was also part of the Steven Spielberg miniseries “Into the West”, and a few “Beethoven” films. In 2008, he appeared in “Swing Vote” alongside Kevin Costner, and one of his latest projects is the fourth film of the “Beverly Hills Cop” series, which sees him and Eddie Murphy returning to reprise their roles. For his personal life, it is known that Judge married Carrie Frazier in 1985 though their marriage only lasted a year. He was also previously engaged to Kaitlin Hopkins, but it was called off.
