A Quick Bio-On Joe Solecki
Joseph Solecki, born on the 27th of August 1993, is one of the upcoming MMA fighters who is quickly making a name for himself. Joe Solecki started his career on October 24, 2015, when he was the age of 22. After only three amateur games, Joe moved on to the professional scene. Joe has said on record that his family plays a big part in why he fights, yet he doesn’t talk about his parents much.
“I’ve always wanted to fight for my family, I’ve always known that’s why I’m doing this, even when we weren’t planning on having a child yet. Now with the decision to start a family, it’s just cleared everything up a little more.”
The American fighter was born in Wenonah, New Jersey. There isn’t any information available on Solecki’s parents. However, for a family, he does have his Wife, Kacey Solecki, and a baby on the way. Joe never talked about his parents much, but he said that he fought in front of his father once. Solecki’s father was a, live spectator in his match against Matt Wiman.
Joe Solecki’s Childhood Growth Into Wrestling
Surprisingly, Joe’s regular visits to his dojo at the age of 6 wasn’t an act of passion. It was merely an afterschool activity to keep him busy that slowly became a part of his life. Solecki admits to not being very good at all when he first started. On an interview, Solecki said:
“I wasn’t excellent. From six to 16, I won no gold medals. People say, ‘Oh, he’s just humble.’ Then I show pictures of me standing next to the podium at a tournament in the participants’ line.”
Joe moved onto the adult-class at the age of 8, further improving his wrestling skills. In his wrestling group, Joe Solecki was the only child. However, no one treated like a kid, and this helped nurture his wrestling skills better. Joe links his childhood mentality to a quote, saying:
“[…] even if I wasn’t good at it, I had a place to call home. I think that played a big part in it. As far as the results, I read a quote that said, ‘Rejection breeds obsession,’ and I was awful. But every time I lost, I thought if I can win, I’m going to make everybody proud, and I’m going to get the praise and be the hero, and I think I became obsessed with that.”
Soon after, Joe finally earned his black belt in Jiu-Jitsu under the mentorship of John Hassett as his coach.
Joe’s Career in Wrestling and UFC
At the age of 15, Joe Solecki decided to do a serious commitment training and took on the challenge to compete against the best wrestlers in the scene. Since then, Joe has had over 200 matches competitively. Of course, these matches are outside UFC and mostly come from NAGA, Grapplers Quest, the Professional Grappling League, and the IBJJF as well.
After his start in the official MMA games, Joe went on to win 5 of his amateur games. After a 5-0 record on the amateur MMA scene, Joe Solecki went on to the professional stage and got himself a 3-0 streak. Of course, all good things come to an end, and so did Joe’s streak. He went on to lose to Cesar Balmaceda at CFFC 65, and he confessed to having his confidence broken that night.
Soon after, he took two more good fights, then ran into Nikolas Motta at 864 Fighting Championship. Here, Solecki fought two rounds and got destroyed. However, even after tanking losses with his competitive spirit, Joe Solecki managed to keep his confidence up in the art of wrestling.
After the match against Nikolas Motta, Solecki went on to win five more games. His most recent game against Austin Hubbard canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but it eventually happened after two months, and Joe got his 5-match win-streak back up again.
Joe Solecki’s Relationships and Wife
Joe Solecki hasn’t had any previous relationships at all, from what is known to date. More importantly, Solecki met his wife, Kacey Lynn Solecki, through Jiu-Jitsu as well. Reports say that he met his wife in 2011. However, there is no confirmed date for when they met. But it can be assured that they had their first date in 2015!
Joe married Kacey on March 17, 2018. And now, two years later, they’re expecting a baby girl! The couple’s relationship is adorable, and it’s wholesome to see how much Joe loves his wife.
On 17th August 2020, which marked the 5 years dating anniversary with his wife, Joe took to Instagram to share express how their journey has been so far. He wrote,
5 years ago today I began dating my wife (and soon to be mother of our little girl)! What a blessing to have such an amazing, strong, beautiful woman to go through this life with and call my best friend. Life has changed so much in 5 years for us, and I couldn’t be more grateful. #x2

Joe earns different salaries from every tournament he attends. Unfortunately, each of the tournament’s that Joe has attended haven’t made a public release of their player salaries. But here’s a brief picture of Solecki’s wages in a couple of tournaments so you can have somewhat of an idea.
