Jimmy also spent a bit of time with the National Basketball Association (NBA). His efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is now.

During his first season he didn’t achieve much in terms of statistics, and he was then traded to the Dallas Mavericks, where he would be waived. He subsequently joined the CBA playing for the Quad City Thunder, and then left the team for a 10-day contract with the Denver Nuggets, which didn’t amount to much. He played a few years in Europe and eventually returned to the CBA, coming back to the Quad City Thunder and becoming the 1998 MVP of the team. His performance here led him to become part of the US team for the 1998 FIBA World Championships, a team that would win bronze. His final season in the NBA would come in the year 2000, when he was part of the Indiana Pacers. All the above contributed to his net worth.
