Jack started his amateur boxing career in 2001 at the age of 18. At that time, he held a record of 150 wins and 25 losses. Further, he also won Sweden’s national championship for five consecutive years from 2004-2008. The boxer also represented Sweden at light-heavyweight at the 2nd AIBA African 2008 Olympic Qualifying Tournament. Despite winning his debut light heavyweight championship, he vacated the title on 23 September.
