Although Carolina’s Head Coach Ron Rivera said that he has no problems with Hardy playing, the team deactivated him, and the league put him on the exempt list. The Commissioner Roger Goodell initially suspended Hardy for ten games, but in July 2015, his suspension was softened to four games.
