The Australian food expert, George Calombaris, faced an unfortunate controversy as he paid his staff way below the prescribed rate. The higher authorities disclosed that his MAdE establishment underpaid about $7.83 million wages to employees in July 2019.

Consequently, the great Aussie got further fame, but negatively this time. Surprisingly, the Hospitality Unions even wanted to sack him as their judge.
