David Schoen is the new addition along with Bruce Castor to defend Trump on his impeachment trial to be held on February 8. Davis is an Atlanta based criminal defense lawyer who has already represented Trump ally Roger Stone.
Mr. Schoen is recently in news for having met disgraced mogul and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in the days before Epstein hanged himself in prison in August 2019. He further claimed Epstein hasn’t committed suicide.

Leon Higginbotham, Jr., he went on to serve as a law clerk for the Honorable Truman M. Hobbs, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama for a year.
David’s year-long experience motivated him to pursue his career as a trial lawyer. He, therefore, established his own law firm Schoen Law firm in Montgomery, Alabama, and immediately began trying cases and arguing appeals in cases in both state and federal courts.
Schoen started his law career as a criminal defense lawyer along with civil rights work. He represented criminals and secured wins in numerous criminal cases ranging from capital murder to rape, robbery, narcotics offenses, and other violent crimes.
