However, Miles performed in the same pace as in Clippers: 9.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists, and in the middle of the season Darius was transferred to the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Jeff McInnis. In Portland, Miles showed his best, averaging 12.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2 assists, a result which earned him a contract for six years and $48 million dollars, which increased Darius Miles net worth considerably.
