Colman Jason Domingo was born on November 28, 1969, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. His mother’s name is Edith Bowels and his stepfather’s name is Clarence Domingo. He is from Belize and his family is from Guatemala. In 2006, when Colman was auditioning for Passing Strange, his father passed away and his mother also died in the same year. His maternal grandparents are James Hawkins and Estella.
