Brandi Alexis Runnels was born in Canton, Michigan, USA on 23rd June 1983. As of 2020, Rhodes is currently 37 years old. Brandi started skating at the age of four and had been a skater for 17 years. Later, she gave up the sport and started working as a journalist.

Before Rhodes started playing wrestling at WWE, she worked as a model, and after graduating, she was admitted to WWE Training Center in 2011. In March 2011, Reed signed a letter of association with the WWE, after which she began wrestling at the WWE’s Florida Championships. A month later, Rhodes started appearing in her ring as Brandi.

Subsequently, on May 12, 2011, Brandi started working as a ring announcer for a weekly wrestling event called Super and was a ring announcer at WWE’s developing region, NXT in July the same year. She played her first official game for the promotion at an annual wrestling event on July 16, where Rhodes competed in the Women’s Battle Royale, but Sonia won. She was transferred from the WWE in December 2011, shortly after Reed’s affiliation with the WWE expired.

In 2013, Rhodes announced her return to the WWE via her personal Twitter account, but her ring name was shortened to Eden after she returned to the promotion. She returned to WWE to serve as a ring announcer.

On June 3, 2016, it was announced that Rhodes, along with her husband, Cody Rhodes, would take part in the Wrestling Under the Stars event against Mike Bennett on August 26 in Massachusetts.
