Ann Curry started her career at the KTVL station, where she was initially an intern, but over the years Curry rose higher and eventually took up the position a news reporter, becoming the first female at KTVL to reach the position. She went on to work at KGW, and later at KCBS-TV as a reporter – the latter job earned her two Emmy Awards. Curry rose to fame in 1990 when she began working at the “NBC News” broadcast network, and then advanced to “NBC News at Sunrise”, where she firstly worked as a correspondent and later as the anchor.
